Learning with Leitner Flashcards
The Leitner learning method is simple: write the term or question on the front and the definition or answer on the back.
Study the cards one by one. If you know a card, you review it less often or remove it from your stack, following the Leitner System with 3 boxes.
Box 1: Learn every day
You start with all the written flashcards in Box 1. Do you know a card from Box 1? Then it moves to Box 2. If you don't know a card, it stays in Box 1.
Box 2: Learn every other day
Revise the cards one by one. Do you have the flashcard correct? Then it moves to Box 3. If you don't know the answer, the card goes back to Box 1.
Box 3: Learn every 5 days
Revise the cards one by one. You know one from box 3? Congrats, you can drop it! You get the card wrong? Then it goes into Box 1 again
